Who We Are
The journey of Uyirr began in 2019 when Abitha Chandran, during her first pregnancy, faced a challenge familiar to many mothers-to-be: finding affordable, comfortable maternity wear that met her style and comfort needs. Frustrated with limited options, Abitha couldn’t shake the idea of a brand that prioritized both comfort and affordability for expecting mothers.
Fast forward to 2024, Abitha, her husband Jose, and their family members, Sabitha and Akhil, decided to turn this vision into reality. Together, they founded Uyirr, a family-driven brand dedicated to providing premium comfort wear at accessible prices. Uyirr was established with a singular vision: to serve as a trusted source of comfortable, high-quality clothing for everyone, especially for those on a budget.
